Based on feedback from pilots, De Havilland Canada decided the aircraft should have excellent "STOL" performance. It is considered by historians to be a Canadian icon, and the preferred aircraft of bush pilots. In excess of 1600 beavers were made from 1947-1967. Hundreds are still in operation worldwide.

I chose Canada flag colours for #5 since the DHC-2 Beaver is recognized as one of Canada's greatest aviation/engineering achievements. You can paint your own to your favorite colour scheme. 38” wingspan, 25” length, 16 gauge sheet metal fuselage, wings, floats & float struts with solid steel pontoon tips & engine cowling for real engine weight imitation to achieve proper CG. (center of gravity).

This is my #1, the prototype. It's still up and working since 2013 when
the owner of a fleet asked me to make him one and voila! Since then I
keep getting requests for one so I've decided to spend some time making
more to see if you may want one also. Since #1 there have been a few
alterations for improvement, which you can see in the photo gallery!

1,947.16 CAD is the introductory commemorative price. A deposit of 400.00 CAD will be necessary to secure your order of which 350 CAD will be returned to you should you cancel.
Wheeler Welding is a one man operation in the south central part of Northwestern Ontario. Item numbers are limited each year due to a limited production season of June 15 to Sept 15. So please keep in mind orders are completed on a first-come-first-serve basis.
Item weight 8kg. Approximate shipping weight is 30kg including packaging.
Your deposit will be deducted from the total price which will include shipping and taxes. The provincial government of Ontario has a harmonized sales tax which was introduced July 1, 2010. The HST rate is 13% of which 5% represents the federal part and 8% the provincial part.
